Tammy Tresor (GG, BSc(Bio))
Tammy Tresor is the founder of Treasured International and a passionate advocate for children and equal access to education worldwide. Her philanthropic journey began in 2018 after a life-changing mission trip that awakened a deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities. With a soft spot in her heart for orphans, Tammy spent time in Burma working with a network of 13 orphanages, coordinating orphan sponsorship programs, and building meaningful connections with children in need.
Her work has since expanded to focus on educational initiatives, driven by her unwavering belief that education has the power to change the world. Tammy brings over a decade of experience as a private school teacher, which fuels her conviction that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream. She has also served on the board of the Jewelry Industry Summit, where she helped advance sustainability and responsibility within the global jewelry trade.
Tammy’s philanthropic efforts have taken her to Peru, Burma, and Thailand, where she has served on the ground to support children and communities through both care and education. Known as a natural superconnector with a visionary spirit, Tammy envisions a future where every child has access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances.
Through Treasured International, she is channeling her heart for service and her gift for bringing people together into a mission of global impact—anchored in the belief that by educating children, we are shaping a brighter tomorrow for the world.

Charles Lawson (BSc (Geo), FGA, FGAA)
Charles Lawson is the co-founder of Treasured International and a lifelong advocate for equality and empowerment within the jewelry supply chain. His philanthropic journey has been rooted in a deep commitment to education—not only in classrooms, but also in the mining fields where some of the world’s most vulnerable communities work.
With over 15 years of experience as a geologist, gemmologist, and gemstone trader, Charles has dedicated much of his career to creating opportunities for miners and their families. He has developed initiatives that teach miners and their communities the basics of gemology—giving them the knowledge to understand the true value of their stones so they are not taken advantage of. He has also led projects that train miners in safer and more efficient practices, helping to improve both livelihoods and long-term sustainability.
Charles’s work has taken him across Africa, Asia, and Australia, often in partnership with organizations such as Tiffany & Co., the Gemstone and Sustainable Development Knowledge Hub, and the Australian and German governments. Wherever he goes, his greatest passion is being in the field—working side by side with miners and their families, sharing knowledge, and building pathways to a fairer and more sustainable future.
At the heart of his vision is the belief that education is the key to transformation. Whether teaching gemology to miners, empowering communities with safer practices, or raising global awareness of the realities of the gemstone trade, Charles is committed to ensuring that every person in the supply chain has the tools to thrive with dignity and equality.
